Noreen Christopher

Contemporary Abstract Colorist


My abstract paintings are a visual means of expressing my personality.  The freedom to face a blank canvas, to contemplate, and use my imagination allows me to pursue my creative journey.  The paintings are characterized by an "inside-out" style, with creativity coming from within, rather than an "outside-in" style,  approximating a realistic style. 

My passion in painting is the use of color and design.  As a focus this provides me with the opportunity to present unusual viewpoints and ambiguities.  I try new techniques that will keep my work exciting, interesting and challenging for the viewer and for myself.
I invite you to join me in my creative journey by feeling the energy, joy and pleasure that color and design in my paintings can bring to an environment--whether it be traditional or contemporary.
